The Enterprise Europe Network embodies a further development of the EU information system formerly composed of Innovation Relay Centres and Euro Info Centres.
The Enterprise Europe Network unites all the competencies, service and tools that are necessary to support small and medium-sized enterprises to develop their full potential and facilitate their participation in European research and development programmes promoting internationalization and innovation.
The Networks services are mainly addressed to SMEs, but are also available for other companies, research centres and universities.
EEN Network Activities
- Periodic custom-tailored information;
- Identification of new clients for commercial agreements;
- Participation in seminars, meetings and workshops;
- Assistance for financing and presentation of projects;
- Assistance for the coordination and technical and financial management of complex projects;
- Identification of qualified partners for joint project participation.
The EEN Network includes over 600 partner organisations and operates in 40 countries:
- 27 EU Member States;
- Accession states: Turkey, Macedonia, etc.
- SEE States Norway, Iceland, etc;
- Other countries: Armenia, Israel, Switzerland .
The Italian EEN Network includes 65 organisations operating in the innovation and enterprise service sectors.
The Consortium for Central Italy is coordinated by Consorzio Pisa Ricerche and provides its services to 5 Regions (Tuscany, Marche, Umbria, Lazio and Sardinia). It brings together 23 partners including FILAS.
