The Rome and Lazio Film Commission and Filas, the Lazio Region agency dedicated to promoting innovation, continue to pursue the internationalisation of the regional cinematographic and audiovisual sectors.
A delegation of Italian cinematographic producers is present at the Asia Media Festival (Nov. 27 - Dec. 1) in Singapore, one of the most prestigious media fairs in Asia.
The delegation of Italian producers was invited to Singapore by MDA, the Singapore Media Development Authority, as a result of the Agreement signed at the Asia Media Festival 2006 by MDA and Filas and presented at the Berlinale.
The Italian producers (AGER TRE, MONDO CINEMA, BESS MOVIE, ROMA FILM, MEDIA LINK) will meet Asian cinema and animation producers as part of the Italian-Asian coproduction effort stemming from previous business meetings organized by the Rome and Lazio Film Commission and Filas at the 2007 Festa del Cinema in Rome and at the last Cannes Film Festival.
On November 29, the new Film Commission, the filming opportunities available in Rome and Lazio and the financial tools reserved for coproductions will be presented at the Asia Media Festival.

This new initiative is a further tool provided by the Roma and Lazio Film Commission to promote coproductions and the many opportunities present in the Lazio Region, via Filas, to local producers.
Filas is presently promoting various initiatives aimed at the cinematographic and audiovisual sector. These include venture capital operations that have lead to the creation of five Italian feature films ("Colpo d'occhio" by Sergio Rubini, "Pinocchio" by Enzo D'Alò, a documentary entitled "I diari del ritorno" by Agostino Ferrente, "L'ultima estate" by Eleonora Giorgi and "La voce" by Augusto Zucchi) and the 10th edition of the CRC European Coproduction Meetings organized by the Film Commission to be held at the upcoming Berlinale.
