Technology has developed vastly in recent years. Many European small and medium enterprises have not fully assimilated this challenge. The result is a loss of competitiveness. The Single Programming Document of the Lazio Region (SD 2000-2006) entails, in the chapter on Information Society and Innovation, the implementation of an administrative support system for micro, small and medium enterprises.
This is the mission of the Filas Observatory: to provide orientation and reference, in today's dynamic and complex context, to institutions and micro, small and medium enterprises; to offer a clear and complete panorama of the evolution of innovation in Lazio. The activities conducted by the Filas Observatory produce reports and analyses that are available on-line and transformed into various tools for those who do not habitually utilize the web.

Previsions, trend anticipation, and technological opportunities: studies, research papers and news on market trends and situations in terms of productive, organizational and ICT innovation.
INTERACTIVE OBSERVATORY
Questionnaires are used to evaluate the state and need for innovation of Lazio enterprises. This space is reserved for enterprise experiences and case studies, interviews, comments and links to useful information.
