A delegation of the ImMediaTe Consortium participated in the seminar dedicated to “Supporting the Creative Industries in Malta” organized by the Maltese Ministry of Finance, Economy and Investments.
The Seminar, held on May 25 at the St. James Cavalier in Valletta, was co-organised with ImMediaTe and featured two presentations by ImMediaTe Consortium members.
Jesmond Xuereb, from the Fondazzjoni Temi Zammit (Malta), introduced
Project ImMediaTe and reported on its current activities and achievements, including the upcoming
MediaKIS Mobile Applications Forum that will be held in
Barcelona on April 17-18, 2010.
ImMediaTe Technical Manager Carlo Donzella (Filas, Lazio) enlarged upon the mission and vision of Project ImMediaTe with a presentation entitled “Financing and Way Forward on the Immediate Project,” which addressed the core focus of the Project’s mission to improve the value of digital media and creative industries through innovative business models and services.
The seminar was organized as part of
European SME Week 2010 (May 25 – June 1) organised to provide information on EU and national, regional and local support to businesses, promote entrepreneurship and give recognition to entrepreneurs for their contribution to Europe's welfare, jobs, innovation and competitiveness.
