Filas and Federlazio organise a series of workshops for the Lazio Biosciences Technology District
Filas is collaborating with Federlazio to organise a series of workshops to raise awareness among SMEs of the opportunities provided by the Lazio Biosciences Technological District (DTB). The aim of the district, in fact, is to promote relations and technical-scientific collaborations between the industry and research systems and strengthen the competitiveness and visibility of the biosciences area on the international level.
The workshops will take place over three days. Day one will concentrate on the presentation of the DTB and the competencies held by the enterprise operating in the biotechnical sector. Day two will allow enterprises to present their projects and ideas. The third and final day will be devoted to illustrating the DTB calls.
“Contributing to this project by acting as a bridge between the Lazio Region and enterprises provides us with great satisfaction,” said Federlazio General Vice-Director Luciano Mocci. “The Biosciences District presents an added opportunity for all enterprises in this sector and we will provide them with all the knowledge and tools that are necessary to fully exploit this possibility, especially to all the new start-ups.”
Filas President Flaminia Saccà pointed out that “through the activities of Filas, the Lazio Region, aims to use innovation and research to fuel development. The Region is investing significative resources in various activities that promote collaboration amongst institutions, research organisms, enterprises and financial organisms, especially through the Aerospace, Culture and Biosciences Districts. Initiatives such as Federlazio’s are precious tools that allow small and medium-sized enterprises on our territory to fully participate in the activities of a district and exploit all the opportunities that they provide.”
