From March 19 to 21, Filas will be at SAT EXPO, the international fair on Space Applications and Technology, to present the outlook of the Lazio Aerospace sector.

Filas, the Regional Agency responsible for promoting innovation and new technologies on behalf of the Lazio Region, is present at SAT EXPO to promote the Lazio Aerospace sector. Lazio, in fact, is the seat of one of the largest aerospace districts in the world with an annual turnover of 5 billion euro, thirty thousand employees and a total of 250 companies, 15 technology centres and 5 universities.

The Filas stand will provide visitors with information on the important initiatives that the Region has implemented for this sector. These include the DTA – The Lazio Aerospace Cluster – created in 2004 through an agreement (the first of its kind in Italy) between the Lazio Region, the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Italian Ministry of University and Research.

Sixty-two million euro have been earmarked for the DTA. These funds include 30 million euro from MUR and 32 million euro from the Lazio Region. Fourty million euro have already been allocated.
